A comprehensive home assessment service
to facilitate independence
Hi I'm Julia and I'm the Ilkley OT.
I offer comprehensive home assessments to individuals who may be recovering from injury, being discharged from hospital or finding day-to-day living increasingly difficult.
Included with this is a personalised report detailing recommendations that support independence and improve quality of life.
I believe that every individual has the potential to achieve their goals and live their best life. I provide personalised occupational therapy plans and practical advice to help all clients reach their full potential.
I am an experienced occupational therapist in a range of areas, including Older People's services, Intermediate Care, and mental health services. I use evidence-based practices and the latest technology to provide the best possible care to my clients.
It is important for me to assess you in your home environment, at a time to suit you.
I can assess all types of property in the Wharfe Valley, the Aire Valley and in Craven.
Please contact me via phone, email or Whatsapp to arrange an appointment.
Please reach us at theIlkleyOT@mail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Occupational therapy is a health care profession that helps people of all ages who have physical, sensory or cognitive difficulties. OT can help people live independently by overcoming challenges in all areas of life by working around barriers that affect a person's social, emotional and physical needs.
The length of an Occupational Therapy session can vary depending on the individual's needs and treatment plan. Typically, sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes.
The cost of a complete home and access assessment is £120 including a full report with detailed recommendations.
I can visit properties in the Wharfe valley, the Aire Valley and in Craven.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement during Occupational Therapy sessions. It is also important to wear supportive footwear and any necessary assistive devices or braces.
Not at present. This is something that I am looking into and hope to be able to offer this facility soon.
I can certainly recommend what equipment you need to make life easier and I can make a number of suggestions where to purchase these items from.
